Release Note: Version 3.11.0
We’re thrilled to introduce WooCommerce Product Feed Manager version 3.11.0! This release includes exciting new features, significant improvements, and crucial fixes to enhance your experience and functionality. Here’s what’s new:
What’s New?
Exclude Single Products from Feeds
Easily manage product inclusion with the new option to exclude specific products from feeds:
A new “Product Feed” menu item is now available under the Product Data section for each product. Simply select “Exclude from Feed” to mark a product for exclusion.
The Advanced Feed Manager Product Filter can then be used to remove these marked products from feeds seamlessly.
Use Shortcodes in Google Campaign URL Builder
Add dynamic content to your Google Campaigns with shortcode support in the Campaign URL Builder.
The following shortcodes are now supported in all campaign builder fields:
- [product-group-id]
- [product-brand]
- [product-sku]
- [product-title]
This allows you to create more personalized and dynamic campaign URLs for better tracking and marketing performance.
Wat is improved?
This update enhances your workflow and usability with several improvements:
- Upgraded Source Selector: The feed filter Source selector has been replaced with a Select2 dropdown for better functionality.
- Improved Message Handling: Error, warning, info, and success messages are now clearer and more intuitive.
- Enhanced Product Filter Visibility: The Product Filter selector on the Edit Feed page is now easier to spot.
- Streamlined Product Identifiers: Brand, GTIN, and MPN identifiers are displayed only when the “Show product identifiers” option is enabled in Settings, simplifying your interface.
- Optimized Translation Loading: Translations now load at the appropriate time, preventing warnings.
- Code Cleanup: A large portion of the plugin code has been reformatted and cleaned up for improved maintainability and performance.
What’s Fixed?
Version 3.11.0 resolves several issues to ensure smoother operation:
- Fixed an issue where the WooCommerce source selector in a new optional attribute line didn’t convert to a Select2 selector.
- Resolved a bug where the plugin incorrectly assumed a feed regeneration was in progress, blocking new feed regenerations.
- Fixed a fatal error message that could occur if the WPMR server was temporarily unavailable.
- Addressed an issue with the “the_title” filter to avoid unexpected behavior.
These updates are designed to improve both the security and operational performance of your feed management, while ensuring compatibility with the latest WordPress and WooCommerce environments.
