Remove out-of-stock products from the product feed. #
In case you have items that are out of stock, or if you wish to pause traffic from Google Shopping (perhaps your online store is temporarily closed for a holiday), there’s no need to remove the item from your product feed. Rather, simply update the ‘availability’ status to ‘out of stock’. When the item is back in stock, you can change the ‘availability’ status back to ‘in stock’. This approach could expedite the serving of your item, as it eliminates the need for reprocessing.
However, if you prefer to exclude out-of-stock items from your product feed, you can achieve this using the advanced product filter.
